Hilltop viewpoint at 1,478 m about 60 km north of the city center, reachable via SH9 in roughly 90 minutes. The park gate opens at 6 AM; entry costs around 20 INR per person. From the top, there is a clear view eastward over the plains below, and fog banks in the valley are common between October and February.
The open lawn area around the central lake faces east and is accessible from the south gate on Lalbagh Road. The garden opens at 6 AM, and entry is free. Early mornings are quiet before the joggers arrive around 7 AM.
